![]() _ _ _ _ _/Release Information. \_ _ Final Fantasy VI Advance (c) SquareEnix _ _ _/ I honestly cannot give this game enough credit. This was pretty cool, so that I could keep my favorite characters and leave out the ones I didn't care for - weren't helpful. All the characters have unique, detailed pasts, and how they're all intertwined with one another on their quest to stop the Empire from recreating the devastating War of the Magi.Īt the end of the game, there is a total of like 16+ playable characters to choose from, so with a selection like that, you're bound to come up with some combination that you like. All of the other Final Fantasy stories are "good" but there was something about this storyline that just made it awesome. The storyline to this game is what truly makes it a masterpiece. The gameplay is quite similar to that of Final Fantasy IV (II in SNES version) except some things have been enhanced, as well as the graphics (well, not of the DS remake, but I'm talking of the GBA and the SNES versions of FFIV). Hoping VI is as awesome as everyone says it is.it has a lot of hype to live up to.I don't normally replay games that often, but I can safely say that I've replayed Final Fantasy VI 3+ times! The story is brilliant, the characters amazing, the soundtrack superb and the gameplay flawless! X-2 did a good job bring the job system to the modern format, I love job classes and that game was alright in my book, not great but alright.:P Sorry just had to throw in my opinions. X I beat, XII.look back through that game and realize it's a Star Wars homage, lol.Īs for spin-offs, Dirge was okay but Crisis Core.I hated it, the story was good, loved the cutscenes but after a while I got tired of playing it and gave it back to the guy I was borrowing it from. but in the GBA version she moves in close to the top generals. VII.Disk 2, VIII LOVE IT! Beat it like three times, but it was the first I ever played and it's my favorite. The first iteration of Final Fantasy VI was released for the Super Famicom in Japan on. So I'm going back through all the older ones to learn more about them and hopefully beat them this time!ġ and 2, I find easy to get lost in.III I have for the DS, and I still haven't beaten it but my brother has, IV I've started to play like five or six times and I never get anywhere but I have to say I like Cecil and Kane, V just started playing today and just downloaded VI right now, lol. But after playing Dissidia(don't care if you hate it or love it, I think it's a decent game and have enjoyed every minute of it) I gained a newfound love for all final fantasies and their characters. Tried playing this one a while back.got stuck, lol.
